These pictures are from yesterday, Thursday, April 3. In the morning we played "Which is MORE?," comparing 2 groups of objects. Some students counted all the objects while others were able to show understanding of the concept MORE in this context.

The second picture is a group shot of the students during instruction using the computer. They are usually attentive, interactive and practicing reading, writing, and numbers on the whietboards in front of them.

Today we lost power at Creekside. Some students went home. Buses transported students to Ore Creek. They sat in the bleachers in the gym and a movie was put on. We returned at 11:00. It can be stressful for students to have a major change in their schedule. Some students made the transition to the middle school okay, but then later experienced some difficulty back at Creekside. Luckily, we have a great staff here and everyone pitched in to support students. Speech teachers, lunch aides, school psychologist, teachers at Ore Creek - Everyone!

Creekside is a great place to be!
