A student at indoor recess one day last week when the weather was wet and cold. We are all so glad for the warmer weather this week!
This morning our group schedule looked like this:
- Number Song and identifying numbers
- What's in the bag? (pink, a circle on a stick, chocolate in the middle - a tootsie pop)
- Handwriting
- Calendar - Day, month, date
- Addition practice using bees
- Book "What can I do today?"
2nd graders had an Edmark reading comprehension lesoon and practiced spelling words.
1st graders had a reading lesson with the ending "s" on known words and then practiced their spelling words.
Kindergarteners practiced writing letters, read the "Jj" book, practiced adding and did a reading lesson using the computer.
This afternoon we wil go to the computer lab. Students will be using the Kid Pix program. They will be instructed to use the "stamps" and to write a sentence that goes with the picture. Students are doing a good job following the directions to complete the lesson.
