A bright sunny March day - it was a lovely walk to the pool. Children holding hands and talking, the promise of spring in the air.
This morning we played the "Bounce the Ball Days of the Week"game and while that was going on, one at a time children counted out their 3 dollars for the pool and put it in their swim bag. We played "Changing for Swimming Lotto" listening to verbal clues to know what item to circle. Then we worked as a whole group for guided reading. Our new book is called "Flying" and uses the repeated phrase "I can see a -------"
Tomorrow afternoon we will cook. Our student teacher has prepared a new recipe for us to try! She is planning a field trip for us to the farm at Kensington. As soon as the arrangements are made she will send home information.
