Here we are on the playground this lovely spring afternoon with our speech teachers, OT, and school social worker ------ talking, moving, listening, following directions, and trying new things. They reminded me that heavy work (such as play on the playground for children) can be organizing for sensory systems and pointed out the increased attention at the table when we came back in.
